Here’s today’s Bottom Line:

RECORD-BREAKING HEAT TODAY

Highs will approach, if not exceed, the 90-degree mark today across all inland areas. If you’re headed to the beaches, it’ll be in the mid 70s thanks to that cold Atlantic water.

Ninety degrees.

On March 11th.

Cold frontal passage still on track for tomorrow. An area of rain and thunderstorms will likely accompany the frontal boundary. I think the overall severe threat will be quite low, but if we get enough sunshine Thursday morning, there could be enough destabilization that some isolated damaging wind gusts occur.

That’ll be a memory by Thursday evening but temperatures will be going down, down, down….. and by the time we wake up Friday morning, area temps will be in the mid to upper 30s (!!) with clear skies.

I don’t think there’s all that big of a frost concern early Friday. That comes next week.

Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday will be absolutely gorgeous with bright sunshine and more reasonable temps (still above normal, though).

Our next front crosses the area either late Sunday night or on Monday with showers and thunderstorms… followed by a TREMENDOUS COLD SNAP with temps WELL BELOW NORMAL.

FROST / FREEZE RISK RETURNS TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT NEXT WEEK.

Check this out….

Yeah.
