Greetings and Happy Monday!! I could almost cut-and-paste yesterday’s report and put it here, because absolutely nothing has changed. Nothing at all.
I wish I had different news. I wish i had news of a soaking rainfall coming… but unfortunately I don’t.
Looking at the weather map, surface high pressure offshore, and broad ridging higher in the atmosphere will result in hot and relatively humid weather throughout the week. Temps will jump to the upper 80s on Tuesday, reaching the lower 90s Wednesday through Friday. Heat index values Wednesday through Friday will probably be in the mid to upper 90s.
There’s hint that a very weak frontal boundary may drop over the area by next Sunday knocking temps back into the 80s, but the rain chances are little to none, as seen on this map.
