CERRO GORDO—West Columbus Youth Sports Club will host the 2026 Youth Football Jamboree this Saturday, Sept. 12.
Teams participating will be the North Strand 57 Strong, Whiteville Wolfpack, South Columbus Stallions, and the host West Columbus Vikings.
The Vikings were chosen by the other teams to host the event to help West Columbus with fundraising, in part because West Columbus does not have a close local municipality to support or fund their program. The Vikings rely mostly on donations.
Admission will be $5 and the jamboree begins at 10 a.m. Food trucks will also be onsite. The motto for the jamboree will be the Three D’s: Dedication, Determination, and Discipline.
