A soccer team got an unexpected free meal Thursday.
The Whiteville Domino’s Pizza contacted the sheriff’s office after someone ordered 21 pizzas valued at $184.67, and had them delivered to Legion Stadium at Whiteville.
The pizzas were delivered without a payment method being confirmed, according to the sheriff’s office.
The pizzas were consumed by the soccer players, according to the report.
