After back-to-back 911 calls, a Tabor City man was jailed for disorderly conduct and other charges Sept. 19.
Deangalo Deran Lewis, 39, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and assault on a public officials. He was held without bond, detention records show. Court documents list his address as 101 Queen St., Tabor City.
Deputies were called to the 701 South Food and Tobacco at Sellers Town Road and Williams Township, just before 7 p.m., according to the report. Lewis allegedly threatened the clerk and refused to leave the property. He left before deputies arrived but returned a short time later.
When confronted by deputies, Lewis allegedly cursed and threatened the deputies, refusing to give his name or identification. He reportedly resisted while being taken into custody.
