Cocaine and opiates sent two Cerro Gordo sisters to jail April 16. Miranda Lynn Godwin, 37 and Crystal Leanne Godwin, 39, were each charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver opiates and prescription drugs, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.   A Loris man has been jailed under no bond in Tuesday’s slaying of a Whiteville woman.
