The driver who led officers from multiple agencies on a high speed chase in September faces more charges. Someone took a carport from a residence near Cerro Gordo, according to sheriff’s reports. Janice Nash, who owns the property, contacted the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office after a real estate agent told Nash that the 12-by-20 foot carport was missing.  Nash lives on Florida, the report said.
