A book laced with synthetic cannabinoid was seized at Columbus Correctional Institute. Deputies were called to the prison in Brunswick April 29 after a “suspicious package” was intercepted, according to the report. The book tested positive for K2 Spice, a synthetic cannabinoid that produces effects similar to marijuana. The book was seized as evidence.
