Some water customers at Lake Waccamaw are under a boil water advisory this morning.
Residents in the area of Cameron Street, Lake View Avenue, Central Avenue, Ash Street and Church Street are advised to boil any water used for human consumption for at least one minute before using for cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, drinking or making ice.
A broken water line in the area of Premier Living Thursday night caused a water outage and significant pressure loss that could allow backflow in some plumbing systems.
The town staff said water outages and pressure loss could be experienced throughout the day today while repairs are completed.
