Linda Carol Griffin Williamson, age 69 of Clarendon, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville. Born September 25, 1951 in Columbus County, to the late Creston M. Griffin & Alberta Carter Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Ryder Norris, and a life-long friend, Ernie Lewis.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Reverend Dr. Darrin Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45, prior to the service.
To cherish her memory, Linda leaves behind her children, Logan A. Williamson and wife, LaDonna, of the home, Justin Williamson of Whiteville, and Christy Norris of Sanford. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
