Anna James Stanton Collier, age 87, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington. She was born on July 24, 1933 to the late Howard Stanton and Emma Alford Stanton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; James Frederick “Fred” Collier and her sisters; Mary Ann Curry and Mary Cook.
She was co-owner of Collier T.V. Anna was a life time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Whiteville where she sang in the choir.
She is survived by a Daughter; Marianne Collier Wayne of Wilmington, a Son; James Frederick Collier III of NJ, Grandchildren; Stanton W. Bissette (Thomas), Gregory A. Wayne (Melissa), Anna E. Wayne, Sara Beth Duyck (Fred), Emily C. Porter (Sutton), Maggie Collier and Brooks Collier, Great Grandchildren, Thomas Bissette, Hobbs Bissette, Sally Duyck and Fred Duyck.
