Woman charged with drugs, delinquency, firearm

A Leland woman was arrested in Columbus on a handful of charges, including exposing a teenager to drug activity.

Arrest reports show Taleesha Angel Bryant, 22, of Northwest Road, Leland, was released $6,000 secured bond after her arrest Sunday morning. She was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for drug activities, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of opiates, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Bryant was arrested by Columbus deputies while she was in possession of cocaine and buprenorphine. She also had a Glock 10mm handgun concealed. A teenager was in Bryant’s Kia Forte with her at the time of the arrest, according to warrants.

 The arrest occurred just after midnight Sunday morning, according to the report.
