Allison Blackwell Jernigan, age 53 of the Cedar Grove Community in Cerro Gordo, peacefully slipped into eternity on Monday, October 4th, 2021, at her home.
Allison was born on September 25, 1968, to the late Colonel Ray and Elizabeth Green Blackwell.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Ledbetter and Reverend Michael Edwards officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-6:50, prior to the service.
Allison leaves behind her children, Brittany Jernigan and Cody Ray Jernigan, both of Cerro Gordo; special companion, Roy Ivey, Jr. of Cerro Gordo; brother, Anthony Blackwell and wife, Tina, of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Carter Martin and Kenzie Martin.
