Three men were shot near Second and Lewis Streets in Tabor City Saturday, just blocks from the Yam Festival.

Tabor City Police Major Russel Conway said two of the victims were airlifted. One man had a superficial wound to his leg. The others were hit in the abdomen and legs.
TCPD located a suspect vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Conway said the car was reported stolen in Horry County, S.C.

Witnesses initially said they saw only two men with injuries. Two AirLink helicopters were deployed to transport the more seriously injured victims.

The gunfire initially sounded like fireworks, one resident said, but then they heard multiple shots being fired.
The investigation is continuing.
