Park dedicates Never Forget Garden for Veterans Day

Thursday morning’s service at the Veterans Memorial Park served two purposes.

In addition to celebrating Veterans Day, the event also marked the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, D.C. Work is underway on a Never Forget garden at the park. The garden will commemorate the Tomb.
Around 75 veterans, family members, elected and county officials attended the service at the park.
