Betty Canady Williamson, 86, of Green Sea, died Thursday, December 23, 2021 in her home.
Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Donnie and Mary Long Canady and widow of Grover Zebedee Williamson, Jr.
She is survived by one son, Rusty Williamson and wife, Carmen, of Green Sea; one daughter, Dean Williamson Fowler and husband, Morris, of Green Sea; one brother, Ray Canady of Tabor City, NC; two sisters, Lula Mae Causey of Shallotte, NC and Linda Long of Whiteville, NC; four grandchildren, Kelli Stanberry (Cameron) of Hampton, TN, Jada Boyd (Clark) of Lebanon, TN, Brandi Barbee (Jonathan) of Durham, NC, and Dallas Moody (Bennie) of Dillon, SC; five great-grandchildren, Maddie, Wilson, Blair Ellen, Chloe, and Carolina; and two step great-grandchildren, Ethan and Miranda. The family would like to say a special thank you to Paula Hall, Wendy Duncan, Selina Gore, and LeAnn with Crescent Hospice.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Green Sea Baptist Church, with burial in the Williamson Cemetery, Green Sea, SC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
