James Theodore Malott age 67, of Whiteville passed on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
He was the son of the late Joseph Malott and Reatha Lois Tedder Malott and the husband of the late Mary Ruth Carter.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Pine Crest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home, prior to the service.
James is survived by four children; Joseph Malott of Chocowinity, Amy Ruth Malott (Mark) of Nakina, James Daniel Malott (Jessica) and David Allen Malott both of Evergreen; a brother, Ray Chester Malott (Terrie) of Oak Island; grandchildren, David Malott, Kinslee Malott, Anna Malott, Shelby Fowler, Logan Fowler, Will Fowler, Dawn Fowler, Kayla Coe, Ashton Smith, Autumn Dudney and Katelyn Malott; great-grandchildren, Christopher Fowler, Elora Fowler and Mary Claire Ruth Mason.
