Walter Burt 62 of Whiteville transitioned into eternal rest December 8, 2021.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 on the grounds of Mt. Olive Church from 10:30am-11am.
The service will also be held on the grounds of Mt. Olive Church in Whiteville on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date.
Survivors are wife: Deborah Lassiter Burt, son: Walter Barnes, brothers: James Burt and Gregory Mitchell, sisters: Dwetta Ellison, Janet Reeves, Renitta Geiger and Denise Mitchell, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
