NFL: ESPN NFL Beat Reporter John Clayton passes away at 57. 

Deshaun Watson is heading to Cleveland. 

Baker Mayfield requests a trade from Cleveland, the Browns deny his request at this time. 

NBA Last Night: Mavericks fall to the 76ers 111-101. Joel Embiid had 32 points and James Harden finished with 24 points and 12 assists for Philly and Luka Doncic ended the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Dallas. 

Trail Blazers lost to the Nets 128-123. Kevin Durant finished with 38 points for Brooklyn. 

Raptors get beaten by the Lakers 128-123 in overtime. LeBron James gets 36 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Russell Westbrook gets a triple double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Lakers. 

Grizzlies cannot handle the Hawks 120-105. Ja Morant finishes with 29 points for the Grizzlies. 

Wizards lost at the Knicks 100-97 

Nuggets were surprised by the Cavaliers 119-116 in overtime. Nikola Jokic ends the game with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for Denver. 

Heat beat the Thunder 120-108 

Pacers defeat the Rockets 121-118 

Pelicans and Spurs 124-91. 

Clippers lost to the Jazz 121-92 

Suns take care of the Bulls 129-102 

Celtics topple the Kings 126-97

NHL Last Night: Flyers and Senators 

Carolina lost to the Capitals 4-3 in a shootout. Antii Raanta stopped 37 of 40 shots against him but Carolina fell short in the shootout. Seth Jarvis had a pair of goals and Vincent Trocheck scored for Carolina. The Hurricanes are back at it tomorrow versus the Rangers at the PNC Arena. 

Bruins beat the Jets 4-2 

Sabres blank the Flames 1-0 in overtime. 

Panthers zip the Ducks 3-0 

Avalanche defeated the Sharks 5-3

NCAA Men’s Basketball: Round 64 of March Madness is underway. The NCAA Championship game will be April 4 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  

Yesterday: Cal State Fullerton falls to Duke 78-61. Double-double for Pablo Banchero with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Duke. The Blue Devils face Michigan State tomorrow at 5:15pm

Local Sports: Dixie Youth Baseball registrations are going on right now through April 1, for ages 13-14 at the Whiteville Parks and recreation building. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate when registering. The price is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents. 

T-Ball registration is currently underway through March 18 at the Whiteville Parks and Recreations building. T-Ball is for players 4-6 years old. A birth certificate is required at registration. Your child cannot turn 7 years old during the season and be 4 years old before the season starts. The cost is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents.
