NCAA Men’s Basketball: Saint Peter’s will go home now. North Carolina had the lead the entire game and ended the Peacocks’ Cinderella story 69-49. Brady Manek had 19 points and Armando Bacot finished with 20 points for the Tar Heels. It is the Tar Heels 21 appearances in the Final Four, North Carolina will face Duke for the first time ever in the NCAA Tournament. Duke beat Arkansas 78-69
Final Four: #2 Villanova versus #1 Kansas; #2 Duke faces #8 North Carolina
The NCAA Championship game will be April 4 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Womens NCAA Tournament:
North Carolina State moves on to the Final Four. South Carolina also moves on to Final Four after beating Creighton 80-50. #1 Stanford beat #2 Texas 59-50 in their battle at the top of the bracket.

Rangers take care of the Sabres 5-4 in overtime

NBA Last Night: The Hornets beat the Nets 119-110. LaMelo Ball had 33 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the Hornets. Kevin Durant ended the game with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Kyrie Irving had 16 points and 11 assists for the Brooklyn Nets. Charlotte is back on the floor tonight hosting the Denver Nuggets at 7pm.
Knicks defeat the Pistons 104-102
76ers lost to the Suns 114-104. Joel Embiid had 37 points and James Harden had 14 points for the 76ers, Devin Booker led the Suns with 35 points. Chris Paul finished with 19 points and 14 assists for Phoenix.
Warriors fall to the Wizards 123-115
Celtics beat the Timberwolves 134-112. Boston is 13-2 since the all-star break.
Lakers cannot handle the Pelicans 116-108. 39 points for LeBron James in the Lakers loss.
Jazz lost to the Mavericks 114-100. Luka Doncic finished with 32 points and 10 rebounds.

NASCAR Cup Series: The challenging road course of the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix was up next at the Circuits of Americas in Austin, Texas yesterday. It was the first time NASCAR has run this track, but the Circuits of Americas in Austin has hosted the United States Grand Prix the last nine years. The Track has over 20 turns and over 130 feet in elevation change. It is a race where your car set-up and pit crew will play a key role in keeping your car right with in-race adjustments. #1 Ross Chastain took the checkered flag in his Chevy. Chastain started in the sixteenth spot. #48 Alex Bowman in his Chevy took second place and #20 Christopher Bell in his Toyota finished in third place.
Next stop on the NASCAR Cup Series is the Toyota Owners 400 at the Richmond Raceway Sunday, April 3 at 3:30pm on FOX.
NASCAR Xfinity Series: Toyota Care 250 is Saturday, April 2 at 1:30 pm at Richmond Raceway. Coverage is on FS1 and MRN.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: Thursday April 7, flag drops 8pm at the Martinsville Speedway. FS1 and MRN will have your coverage.
Local Sports: Dixie Youth Baseball registrations are going on right now through April 1, for ages 13-14 at the Whiteville Parks and recreation building. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate when registering. The price is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents.
