Whiteville Wolfpack versus St. Pauls March 15, 2022:
The Whiteville Wolfpack took care of business 8-3 over St. Pauls. Plenty of Wolfpack Nation showed up to support the pack and for the fifth game this season (every game so far) Whiteville opens the game striking out the side. Ty Lawson was on the bump for the Wolfpack, and he had his fastball moving and his curve ball was leaving the Bulldog players scratching their heads. Lawson ended the game with 14 strikeouts, and he did not give up a hit till the fifth inning. Lawson pitched into the seventh inning eventually giving up a few hits and a run. Ashton Hammonds came in to close the door in the seventh inning.
At the plate for Whiteville JT Todd had a solid game with 3 RBIs off two singles. Todd also walked and had 2 stolen bases. Ty Lawson helped his own cause with 3 RBIs off two singles as well. Bud Baldwin was the spark at the plate when the Wolfpack needed it. Baldwin was 3-3 at the plate with 2 doubles, a single and a walk. Bud Baldwin also had 2 RBIs. Grayson Bell had 2 singles, a stolen base and scored for the Wolfpack.
