Claudie Collins, Jr. age 76 of North Myrtle Beach, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 25, 2022, at his home.
Claudie was born on January 6, 1946, in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his father, Claudie Collins, Sr.; wife, Betty Lou Collins; daughter, Autumn Michelle Collins, and his brother, David Lee Collins,
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery(Pastor Eva Ruth officiating); Rev. Kevin Kinlaw will officiate the chapel service.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:45, prior to the service on Friday.
Claudie’s 55-year career in tire service began as a Family Team Member with Target Tire. He later formed his own business, Discount Tire in Spring Lake, and was currently part of the Blacks Tire Service Family. For the last 16 years, Claudie was also a part-time DJ, and was inducted into the SOS Hall of Fame in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Collins Williams (John Kevin) of Bladenboro; mother, Claire Elizabeth W. Collins; sister, Claudia C. Eller of Lumberton; grandson, Jarrett Kyle Williams of Bladenboro; special friend, Beverly Carroll.
