Varsity Boys Baseball – Pitt County Classic at South Central High School: 

Whiteville plays a neutral non-conference game versus the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity NC) on Monday at 1:45 p.m. 

Whiteville Varsity baseball team has a neutral non-conference game vs. Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA) on Monday, April 18 at 4:30 p.m. 

The Whiteville Varsity baseball team has a neutral non-conference game vs. Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) on Tuesday, April 19 at 12 p.m.

It’s been a mixed bag with our other area varsity baseball teams.

Still smarting from this week’s encounters with the Wolfpack, WCHS will take on West Bladen’s Knights Monday at Bladenboro.
East Columbus blanked Pender, 15-0 Tuesday, and on Monday will head to North Brunswick at Leland  on Monday. Leland hasn’t fared well against any Columbus County teams so far.

South Columbus fell to Heide Trask’s power team Tuesday, in a hard-fought 6-3 game. On Monday, the South Stallions will head to Legion Collegiate Academy in Rock Hill, S.C. for their next matchup.

Last Night: The Hurricanes lost to the Red Wings 3-0. The Hurricanes took 46 shots on net. The Avalanche will host Carolina tomorrow night at 9 p.m.
