Essie Natasha Peterson, 41, of 706 Bitmore Road, Whiteville, died Friday, April 29, 2022, at her home.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, at Peoples Funeral Chapel by Pastor Nathaniel Best. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday following the service.
Surviving are her parents, Willie and Mary Peterson of the home; sister, Barbara Peterson of Greenville, NC; brother, Virgil Peterson of the home; god brothers, Jeffrey Powell (Dana) of Whiteville, Nathaniel Best (Helen) of Laurinburg, NC, Jerry Murchison (Nanette) of Whiteville, and Barron Smith (Gloria) of Whiteville.
