Annie Pearl Spivey Hammonds, age 78 of Chadbourn, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Annie Pearl was born on July 31, 1943 in Columbus County, to the late Lawrence Spivey and Allie Norris Spivey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Ray Hammonds in 1988; an infant daughter, Sharron Denise Hammonds; siblings, Tom Spivey, Frazier Spivey, and Larry Dale Spivey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Willard McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Ray Hammonds of Chadbourn, Terry Gene Hammonds of Chadbourn; siblings, Asure Spivey (Brenda) of Whiteville, Mary Helen Walters of Bladenboro.
