Bobbie Jacobs Ward, age 86, died Thursday, June 16, 2022 in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Born December 2, 1935 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Herman Jacobs and Blanche Waddell Jacobs and the widow of Brooks Burdon Ward.
She is survived by one son, Gary Brooks Ward of Whiteville, NC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Claussen Jacobs and Talmadge Jacobs; and three sisters, Josephine Jacobs Peavey, Maxine Jacobs Reaves and Mable Buffkin.
Funeral services will be private.
