Eva Amy Carroll age 85, a resident of Delco, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, peacefully at home.
Eva was born on December 25, 1936, in Fayetteville NC and was the daughter of the late Morris and Vella Jordan.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Eugene Carroll; children, Randy Eugene Carroll, Tony Marvin Carroll (Nicole), Melinda Carroll Strickland (Jimmy); grandchildren, Winston Presley Mintz and Summer Nicole Carroll. She is also survived by her sister, Esty Bullard.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a warm hearted, caring person who loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Delco P.F.W.B Church before she became ill.
The family will receive friends and family from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM Sunday, June 12, 2022 in the Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2:30 PM in the Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 283 Kaiser Road, Delco NC 28436 with Reverends Dewey Ball, Patsy Smith, Jerome Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in the Delco Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Pete Peterson, Jerome Bullard, David Carroll, William James Skipper, Kevin Squires, and Danny Peterson. Honorary pallbearers are Wade Jordan and Ricky Squires.
