County commissioners held a brief emergency closed session Thursday to discuss a personnel matter and potential future litigation.
Commissioner Laverne Coleman made the motion to go into closed session, with a second by commissioner Barbara Featherson. The general account of the closed session did not describe the litigation. Commissioners did not detail what was discussed in the closed session, which last around 45 minutes. Commissioner Giles “Buddy” Byrd made the motion to accept the general account for the record, with a second from Commissioner Brent Watts.
