Donald Mitchell Fowler, Sr. age 76 of Whiteville, died on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at his home.
Donald was born on January 7, 1947, son of the late Dalphus Fowler and Edna Snow Turbeville Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Blawats, Jenny Buffkin, Douglas Fowler, and Lois Aydell.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Abundant Life Assembly of God with Pastor John Beattie officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:00 p.m., prior to the service on Thursday, at the church.
Donald honorably served his Country in the Vietnam War.
Surviving family includes his wife, Nancy Meares Fowler of the home; son, Donny Mitchell Fowler of Whiteville; siblings, Dalphus Fowler “Junior” of Nakina, Louise Barnes of Hallsboro, Joyce Sarvis (Phil) of Whiteville, David Fowler (Jodell) of Nichols, SC; granddaughter, Madilyn August Fowler of Advance
