Lacy Levone Wilson, age 76, of Whiteville, NC, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Lacy was born in Horry County, SC on November 14, 1946, to the late Clarence Oscar Wilson and Etha Mae Strickland Wilson.
Lacy served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and achieved the role of a sharpshooter. Lacy founded Lacy Wilson Properties in Whiteville and was the Commander of Legion Post 137. 
Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Judy Long Wilson, son; Blake Wilson (Carolyn) of Whiteville, and grandson; Braylon James Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 11:00 am with military honors at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Darrin K. Moore officiating.
