Lee Roy Bryant, 81, of Clarkton, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Bryant and Mattie Dowless Bryant; brothers: Earl Bryant, Morris Bryant and sister, Pearline Sykes.
Lee leaves behind his wife, Brenda R. Bryant of the home; sons: Roy Bryant of Clarkton and Edmond Bryant (Caressa) of Virginia; daughters: Jessica Bryant of St. Pauls, Mickey Wood (Henry) of White Oak; brother, Dennis Bryant of Dublin; sisters: Lucille Reynolds of Dublin, Juanita Nobles of Chadbourn, Rosa Lee Jernigan, Maxine Carpenter of Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Lee was a compassionate man who adored his family. Some of his hobbies included: hunting, fishing, working in his yard and garden. He loved to watch Westerns and a good football game. His tender spirit will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am on Tuesday, August 15th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will follow at 11am at Bladen Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lacy Norris officiating service.
