Assistant District Attorney Heath Nance has a new title – judge.
Nance will fill the seat left vacant by C. Ashley Gore, who was recently appointed to fill the Superior Court seat of retired Chief Superior Court Judge Doug Sasser.
Gov. Roy Cooper made the announcement today (Friday)
Nance currently serves as Chief Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District under Jon David. He spent a decade in private practice and served as general counsel for Black’s Tire Service.
Nance earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his Master of Business Administration from Elon University and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
