Three Charged in Robbery, Killing

Tamrick Hobley (CCSO)

Tamrick Hobley of Wilmington and two other suspects have been charged in the July murder of a Riegelwood  man.

The sheriff’s office said Tracey Taylor was found dead at his residence on Cemetery Road in the early morning hours of  July 21. Deputies were called there after a report of shots being fired in the home, and a possible injury. Additional details have not been released in the case.

Warrants show that Hobley, 29, was charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Trequan Lakeithan Age, 26, was also charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and being an accessory after the fact. Alexia Frink, 23, was also charged with being an accessory. All three are from Wilmington, according to detention center reports.

Warrants show that Hobley and Age went to Taylor’s home with the intent to rob him. Hobley then allegedly killed Taylor. A 911 call was made at the scene shortly after 6 a.m. Frink and Age allegedly helped hide Hobley after the killing.

All three suspects are being held without bond, pending a first appearance. The murder was the tenth on the county this year.
