Bandits Hit Nakina Dollar General

A small gun

Two gunmen robbed the Nakina Dollar General Sunday, escaping with a small amount of cash.

Deputies were called to the store at 16015 Swamp Fox Hwy. East around 9:30 p.m. The report said two masked men entered the store and demanded money. One was wearing a black coat and khaki trousers, and the second had on a plaid shirt and blue pants.

The suspect in the black coat demanded the clerk open a register, and the suspect in the plaid shirt took the contents of the till.

No one was injured in the robbery.
