All charges have been dropped against a Georgia woman found passed out in a Dollar General parking lot with a small child in her car.

Brandy Lynn Gillis, 34, of Byron, Ga., was held under  $5,000 secured bond in the Sunday incident. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor child abuse. Court records show the charges were dropped Tuesday.

Deputies were called to the Evergreen Dollar General just before 10 p.m. when Gillis was found apparently passed out in her car, the sheriff’s office reported. A two year old child was in the vehicle with her.

Deputies found crystal methamphetamines, paraphernalia used for smoking meth, and suboxone strips in the vehicle, the report said.

The child, who was not injured, was turned over to Social Services.

We have reached out to the District Attorney’s Office for more on the case.
