A Sunday morning shooting left a woman dead and sent a Chadbourn man to jail, according to Horry County Police.
William Cody Perritt, 21, of Chadbourn is charged with murder and possession of a weapon in a violent crime, HCPD said. He is being held under no bond.
Brooke Akins, 19, was pronounced dead after being taken to McLeod Loris Hospital around 130 a.m. Sunday. She was from Galivant’s Ferry.
