Deputies arrested a Fayetteville man at his grandmother’s home Christmas morning after the suspect allegedly fired a gun, drove while impaired, and dropped his pants.

Bryan Maxwell Troy, 31, was charged with driving while impaired, resisting an officer, and indecent exposure. He was held under $1,500 secured bond. He gave a Fayetteville address on arrest documents.

The sheriff’s office reported that Maxwell was allegedly impaired and firing a gun outside his grandmother’s home near Whiteville around 9 a.m. Christmas Day. When his grandmother asked him to stop, Maxwell left the scene, and she called 911.

When deputies responded, Maxwell returned to the scene and began arguing with deputies. When they approached him, he allegedly dropped his pants and fought with the deputies.
