Mrs. Willa Dean Baldwin 82, of Whiteville passed on Friday, December 15, 2023 in Shoreland Retirement & Healthcare. She was born May 31, 1941 in Columbus County,the daughter of the late Seymour McPherson and Lily Mae Cartrette McPherson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Baldwin; a son, Michael Baldwin and a sister, Margie Strickland.
She is survived by a son, Timothy Baldwin and wife, Marcie of Oxford, NC and a daughter, Pamela Brackley and husband, Daniel of Whiteville, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Brackley, Melorah Avery and Justin Baldwin; great grandchildren, Peyton Brackley and Morgan Brackley; a brother, Eugene McPherson and wife, Joyce of High Point, NC and a sister, Cora Jane Nobles of Charleston, SC.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 graveside at the Baldwin Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
