Betty Lou Richardson Ward, 83, of Chadbourn, entered into her Heavenly home on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at her residence.
Betty was born on March 10, 1940, daughter of the late Robert Lee Richardson, and Daisy Clyde Cartrette Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Odell Richardson, E.B. Richardson, Billy Ray Richardson, Bernice R. Anderson, and Arnold Richardson.
Betty retired from Ithica Textiles in Chadbourn, after 35 years of service.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery, with Chaplain Bonnie Reedy officiating.
Betty leaves behind her daughter, Debbie Connor of Chadbourn and a son, Michael J. Connor (Mary Jane) of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Mason Insley (Daisy), Luke Insley (Gabby) and Haley Connor.
