Brother Willie Haley 92, of Whiteville, NC exchanged this life for a home in glory on Thursday, January 18. 2024, at Liberty Commons Nursing Rehab Center of Columbus County, Whiteville, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. Willie Haley, Sr. and Mrs. Estella Little Haley, and the husband of the late Mother Eva McDonald Haley of Whiteville, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm from the Brunswick Waccamaw Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 600 Pine Log Road, Whiteville, NC, with Bishop Willie Powers eulogizing. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery, Whiteville, NC.
Brother Haley is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Bessie McCutchen and Pastor Marcella Powell both of Whiteville, NC, three sons: Mr. Marshall Haley of Lumberton, NC, Mr. Arthur Haley of Seattle, WA, and Mr. Charles R. Haley of Suitland, MD, daughter-in-law: Mrs. Sheila McDonald of Bladenboro, NC, son-in-law: Bishop Willie Powers (Sheila) of Whiteville, NC, 31 grandchildren, 28 great grands, 6 great-great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 3 to 5 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and again on Tuesday at the Brunswick Waccamaw Association building one hour prior to the service and following the service.
