Dana Louise Kerns Nance age 65 of Cerro Gordo, went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2024, at the Cape Fear Lifecare “Angel House” in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
She was born on April 17, 1958, in Robeson County to the late Leroy Ralphford Kerns and Myrtle Hunt Kerns. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Leroy Kerns, Jr., Glen Kerns, and Daryll Kerns.
She is survived by her husband Tony Nance of the home; two daughters, Kristy Lynn Lowry of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Chelsea Alexandria Green of North Myrtle Beach, SC; step-sons, Matthew Nance of Cerro Gordo and Brandon A. Nance and wife, Paula of Whiteville; sisters, Lois K. Lowry and husband, Waymouth of Atlanta, Ga., Shirley K. Clein and husband, Freddie of Gross Pointe Woods, MI, Linda K. Locklear and husband, Redmond of Pembroke and Tanuel K. Fissmer and husband, Joe of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren, Landri Strickland, Chloe Strickland, Rylee Buffkin, Regan Nance and Miller Nance.
