Janice Long Beck Davis, 78, of Nakina, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Arthur Long and Estelle Barefoot Long; siblings, Hazel Lee Nance, Peggy L. Fowler, Judy Gail Long, Velma L. Hilbourn. She was also preceded in death by her step-son, Billy Ray Davis.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Cribb-Long Family Cemetery (605 Avery Ward Road, Nakina, NC). Pastor Mitchell Smith will officiate.
The family will speak to friends from 10:30-11:00 prior to the service at the cemetery.
Surviving family Includes her husband, Wilton I. Davis, Sr. of Nakina; a son, Timothy Beck and wife, Jeannie, of Nakina; step-son, Wilton I. Davis, Jr. of Lynchburg, VA; step-daughter, Teresa Lynn Jones and husband, Ben, of Lexington; grandson, Cody Beck and wife, Caitlyn of Nakina.
