Authorities have tied nearly 100 vehicle break-ins to a Maple Hill man who was tracked down and jailed in Elizabethtown Thursday.

Joseph Clark Jr., 40, of Maple Hill, is being held under a secured bond after allegedly breaking into at least 91 vehicles since February. He faces charges of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny and possession of stolen goods.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that Clark faces 30 charges in Bladen, 50 in Lee, and 11 in Harnett County. More charges are pending.

Deputies from Bladen, Pender, Harnett, and Lee, along with Elizabethtown Police, raided a home in the 700 block of East Broad Street, where they found Clark and multiple items that tied back to the alleged thefts.
