Deputies arrested a man at Lumber River Campground after he allegedly burned a bundle of firewood without paying for it, and threatened to “blow up” other campers.

Randall Mark Green, 69, of Loris, was charged with defrauding an innkeeper, misdemeanor larceny, and intoxicated/disruptive behavior, reports show. He was jailed under a $1,500 secured bond.

Deputies were called to the campground Sunday at 8:47 a.m. A report said Green was “extremely intoxicated,” and the manager said he had stayed overnight at the campground without paying. Green had also allegedly burned a $7 bundle of firewood without paying for it.

Green also reportedly threatened other campers, and made the statement “I’ll blow this place up,” while sitting at a picnic table with a gas can.

He was taken into custody without injury, and charged before a magistrate.
