Christopher Lee Hayes, age 63, of Whiteville, NC, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare. Christopher was born on March 17, 1961, in Flemington, NJ to the late Herman Hayes and Betty Hayes.
Christopher was a welder for over 40 years and worked most recently at the nuclear power plant in Southport.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Kathie W. Roach, two sons; Waylon Hayes and Jessie Hayes both of Whiteville and one sister; Pat Blackmon also of Whiteville.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
