Joanne Porter Hardee of Whiteville NC, Passed away May 14, 2024 at Shoreland Healthcare in Whiteville. She was born to the late Leslie Bush Porter and Mary Catherine Owen on September 18, 1942.
She is survived by her husband Paul Hardee; son, Porter Hardee and wife, Shannon of Little River, SC; daughter, Tina Bailey of Rock hill, SC; brother, Glenn Porter and wife, Margaret of Kelly, SC; sisters, Sandra P. Allen and husband, Mike of Fuquay Varina, NC, Christy P. Mitchell (Scott) of FLorence SC; grandchildren, Mona Maria Bailey, Parker Bailey, Dawson Hardee, and Gentry Hardee; sister in law, JoRuth Porter of Riegelwood, NC; nieces and nephews, Leslie Owen, Preston Porter, Zach Allen, Elizabeth Bryant, Mary Catherine Mitchell, Will Mitchell, Paige Meleski and Heather Manypenny.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Porter.
Her memorial service will be held Saturday May 25, 2024 at 12:00pm at Western Prong Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior at 11:00am at the church.
