September 12, 2001 ~ June 2, 2024 (age 22)
Parker Elisabeth Nance, 22, tragically lost her life in a car accident on June 2, 2024.
Parker was born in Whiteville, NC on September 12, 2001 where she lived for most of her life before relocating to Wilmington.
Parker was preceded in death by her grandfather Jack Nance.
Parker lived her life with vigor and enthusiasm and had an incredible ability to see the beauty in the world and in others. She excelled in the arts whether drawing or painting or as a member of a number of stage productions at Whiteville High School where she graduated in 2019.
Blessed with a joyful spirit and infectious sense of humor, Parker quickly put others at ease. She captivated us all with her ability to tell stories about most anything and often left us awestruck by a level of empathy and caring for others that far exceeded her years.
Parker’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, happiness, hope and optimism which she generously shared with us all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation following the service.
Surviving family includes her parents Michelle and Robert Williamson of Whiteville and Allen and Bobbie-Jean Nance of Evergreen, her sister Taylor Brooke Williamson of the home, grandparents Joel and Margie Morris of Sanford, Dorothy Morris of Whiteville and Janice Nance of Chadbourn, and boyfriend Nick Montalbano of Wilmington. She also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
