A Bolton man is being held under $1.5 million secured bond on dozens of charges of possessing and sharing child pornography. Some of the videos involved infants.
Aaron Hunter Thomas Coleman, 25, was processed into the Columbus County Detention Center at 3 a.m. today (Wednesday), according to jail records. A grand jury indictment showed he faces 23 charges of second degree sex offense with a minor and 16 of third degree sex offense. His address was listed as 15 Scott Rd., Bolton.
According to the indictments, Coleman had and shared videos involving female victims ranging from infants to teenagers engaging in sex acts, in some cases with adult men. None of the victims were identifiable.
Coleman obtained some of the videos in 2022, and was allegedly sharing and obtaining more as late as March.
District Attorney John David said the case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service computer crimes division that investigates child pornography.
