Kenya Lashawnda Cherry Wallace, 51, formerly of Hallsboro, NC, died Saturday, July 20, 2024, at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, August 3, at Greater Bolton Church of God in Christ, 150 South Blacksmith Road, Bolton, NC, by Rev. Gabrilla Garrett, eulogist and Elder Shawn Maynor, pastor.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Kenya leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James Wallace, Jr.; mother, Mary Gozan, and stepfather, Kodjo Gozan; brother, James Richard; sisters, Kiescha Cherry, Shaquisha Mccutchin, Ama Gozan, Afua Gozan, Larbi Gozan, and Sika Gozan.
