April 7, 1944 ~ July 22, 2024 (age 80)
Linda Pridgen Williamson, 80, gained her heavenly wings Monday, July 22, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville following a Long COURAGEOUS Battle with Cancer. She lived in Whiteville during her last three years of life on earth but was formerly of the Cherry Grove Community of Cerro Gordo.
Linda was born April 7,1944, daughter of the late Jack Pridgen and Minnie Causey Pridgen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beautiful eldest daughter Donna Peal and Husband Billy Peal of Chadbourn NC, and her siblings JD Pridgen, LJ Pridgen and Elsie Pridgen.
Linda owned and operated a Home day care and poured her Loving, Humble, Sweet Spirit into the lives of many children and families Thru this “ministry”. She also Loved her Family with ALL her heart and she LOVED her “Golden Sunshine” Ladies Sunday School class at church.
Linda leaves behind to cherish Sweet memories of her, husband Richard Williamson of Whiteville, daughter Cindy Allgood and husband David , of the home, son Nathan Williamson and Amy Williamson of Whiteville, and Son Sean Williamson of Longs SC. Grandchildren Kethan (Heaven)Williamson, Holly Allgood-Price (Dylan), Jacob Allgood (Marly Gore), Logan Williamson, Nicolas and Natalie Wiggins, and Jaxson. One great grandson Lucian Williamson and one on the way in December.
Linda’s Final wishes are for a private intimate immediate Family only “Celebration of Life” ceremony to be determined at a Later Date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials May be made to Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church “Music Ministry” or “Building Fund” 518 N Elm Street Chadbourn NC 28431.
